WHAT YOU’LL DO
POSITION Creativity is fueled by conviction. As a professional critic with a strategic point of view, you’re here to build a portfolio of performance strategies you can be proud of. You help clients differentiate themselves within the greater ecommerce landscape by leveraging data and AI to inform marketing calendars, consumer insights, and revenue optimization strategies. From analyzing customer data to developing innovative acquisition offers, your insights help brands expand their existing customer value while also acquiring new ones. You will leverage the Ultimate Brief tool to visualize data, identify key revenue peaks, analyze ad performance, understand customer personas, and optimize strategies based on robust data.
PLAN The secret to fueling your client’s growth objectives is delivering great strategies at the right time. As a marketing professional, you optimize your client’s marketing calendar to ensure strategies are implemented for the highest profit potential moments. After designing a quarterly strategic testing plan, you oversee its deployment from concepting to monthly performance reporting. As a strategic operations lead on your team, you organize, prioritize, and manage client approvals on all strategic initiatives. You’re able to keep multiple points of information organized with great attention to detail.
PERFORM Measure twice, cut once. Strategic problem-solving starts with a deep understanding of historical data, current ecommerce trends, and consumer behavior to develop winning strategies that impact your client's growth. You’re Neo, navigating your way through the Matrix of Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Shopify, and the Ultimate Brief tool. You will develop strategic hypotheses and share performance stories monthly with clients to show how your strategies are helping clients reach their growth goals — from increasing brand recall to optimizing revenue streams.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Success in Your Day to Day Looks Like
- Ensure client satisfaction on all strategic services.
- Ensure strategies are delivered to the team according to the marketing calendar with proper lead times.
- Lead cross-functional teams through ideation of new strategic concepts for both evergreen & promotional campaigns.
- Deliver varied strategic toolkits optimized for platform testing and efficient spend through a variety of strategic designs and placement formats.
- Employ creative solutions that result in week-over-week increase in efficiency and scale.
- Zero unapproved delays on agreed-upon strategic delivery, revision, and build timelines.
- Majority of strategic initiatives delivered to client are approved on the second round.
- Strategic accounts hit spend, revenue, and profit targets to align with growth and media forecasts.
- Deliver regular production updates to clients on work underway.
Success in Your First Three to Six Months Looks Like
- Build trust and a strong relational foundation with your teammates.
- Mastery of the CTC Creative Strategy Operating System, including The Ultimate Brief, Performance Ad Library, and Concept Log
- Strategic initiatives in strategic accounts hit spend, revenue, & profit targets to align with your client’s growth forecast.
- Proven ability to structure strategic tests to arrive at actionable insights.
- Able to tell a clear narrative about the impact of your strategic solutions on account performance.
- Foster an environment of creative collaboration and innovation.
- Majority of strategic initiatives delivered to clients approved on the second round.
- Build strong relational equity with clients as demonstrated by 75%+ client renewal of strategic services.
- Deliver actionable research and insights reports to clients during monthly performance reporting.
- Proven ability to structure strategic tests to arrive at actionable insights on a monthly basis.
- Your strategies will be amongst the highest drivers of ROAS and efficiency in the accounts.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- B.A. or B.S. in advertising, marketing, data science, communications, journalism, English, or relevant work experience.
- 4-6 years experience creating and executing strategic concepts at an ecommerce brand or digital marketing agency.
- Project management experience, writing briefs and managing multiple strategic projects simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Google Suite, Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms, Google Analytics/Ads, etc.
- An understanding of current and future design and strategic trends — you know what’ll be in before it’s in, and what’ll be out before it’s out.
- Must have a unique combination of humility (willing to do the dirty work) and ambition (vision for what your future holds).
- Skilled in ASANA or relevant project management software preferred.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail.
- Ability to complete short-term and long-term goals in a proper manner.
- An insatiable curiosity and an inability to leave a problem alone until you’ve found one or many different potential solutions.
- A desire to take risks — but only after carefully examining the calculus and determining that your chosen course of action is most effective.
- Experience with data visualization tools, particularly the Ultimate Brief, to enhance creative strategies and campaign optimization.
SALARY & BENEFITS
- Salary range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually
- Bonus Structure | 10% of base salary
