The Impact You’ll Make;

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Product Development Engineer to lead the execution of Customer-Back Innovation (CBI) projects. The role demands a proactive and highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with relevant experience in designing products for civil, commercial and industrial applications; ensuring full-scope, on-time, and on-budget project delivery while modelling industry-leading technical innovation within our R&D team.

About You;

• Drive the design, development, and delivery of new product pipeline projects and initiatives
• Lead projects and initiatives from concept through completion, managing development work to strict timelines and budgets
• Adopt an 80/20 mindset and ensure alignment with the Customer-Back Innovation framework to achieve top-tier results
• Utilise industry-leading tools and methodologies such as DFMEA, DFx, Root Cause Analysis, Rapid Prototyping, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and Six Sigma
• Maintain the highest quality standards throughout the product development lifecycle
• Engage with cross-functional project stakeholders to manage scope, time, cost, and risk
• As a senior engineer, mentor and coach R&D team members, fostering their professional growth and strengthening overall team capabilities
• Ensure all project deliverables meet relevant standards, codes, and internal guidelines, adhering to the highest performance criteria and industry practices
  

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng), with professional registration or eligibility is highly desirable
