Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for technical solutions and market engagement? Join our team at ITW as a Structural Engineer for our Ramset Business and play a pivotal role in driving the master & project specification process, providing technical support to our sales team and key customers, and contributing to the achievement of our technical, growth, and strategic objectives.

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the charge in driving key project specification of ITW solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Team and our distributors to maintain specifications and facilitate alternate specifications as required. Your expertise will ensure compliance with design and performance standards while delivering on our technical goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with the market to foster year-on-year growth in project specification
• Provide sound and compliant technical advice and support to both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with the sales team and our distributors to maintain and convert specification and suggest alternate solutions when needed
• Evaluate customer needs, develop application proposals, and manage project delivery to meet customer requirements
• Conduct technical presentations, seminars, and one-on-one project engagements with specifiers and other key stakeholders
• Partner with sales team to develop & maintain a healthy pipeline of upcoming construction projects and early engagement opportunities
• Prepare and review designs, specifications, reports, and project documentation in line with business, customer and compliance requirements
• Maintain an intimate understanding of the market, relevant standards, best practices, trends, competitors, and key influencers

About You;

• Strong technical acumen and a logical approach to problem solving
• Strong knowledge of relevant standards such as AS5216, AS3600, AS4100, AS/NZS1170
• Qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering is essential
• Experience in the commercial, external facing engineering field within the construction industry
• Strong written & verbal communication and commercial skills with a proven ability to translate customer problems into viable engineered solutions
• Effective leadership skills with strong self-initiative, holding oneself and others accountable
• Proficiency in building and influencing internal and external relationships
• Commitment to promoting a safety culture and driving continuous improvement

• Ability to prioritise, focus, and make informed, data driven decisions
