Back Bay Staffing Group's client, a large non-profit organization, is seeking a Grant and Contract Administrator. The candidate will provide routine oversight and management of the research grant portfolio by researching, preparing and monitoring externally funded grants, contracts and cooperative agreements.
The candidate will also assist with preparing grant applications and ensuring their completeness; review project budgets, obtain and verify necessary approvals, and when appropriate recommend changes to applications with higher level department/grant administrators. The candidate will provide assistance with contracts, budgetary compliance, processing and reporting of grants and process and submit purchase orders, personnel action forms and other forms as necessary.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or a similar area relevant to post-award grants administration, Master's Degree in business, finance or similar area preferred, and 3+ years of professional experience in research administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other administrative software applications, including Adobe Acrobat is required.
