Job Description:

Pay Range $22hr - $ 27hr

Performs a variety of procedural and administrative tasks to create, maintain and ensure protection of company and government property and information.
Tasks may support one or more of the following areas: general security administration, clearance processing, access control, asset management, data collection, and record and report maintenance.
Maintain security databases, logs, files, records and generate reports.
May conduct periodic inventories to verify or track assets (i.e. documents, equipment, accountable material, etc.).
Supports technical and non-technical security system architecture (i.e. CCTV, access control, alarms, etc.) to include installation, maintenance and repair, monitoring, and administration.
Analyzes, develops, and implements long-term spend management strategies within a given commodity to ensure sourcing efforts meet business goals and objectives.
Manages activities including supplier assessments and rationalization, negotiations for best total cost of ownership, make vs. buy analysis, vendor managed inventories, inventory reduction programs, cycle time improvements, security of supply, supplier diversity, continuous improvement, commodity road maps, and procurement/stakeholder collaboration.
Researches and benchmarks current commodity market conditions/trends, developing technologies, supply chain capacity/capability, product knowledge, customer requirements and supply/demand challenges.
Guides the selection, development, and management of strategic suppliers to meet commodity cost and performance goals.
Establishes a strong network and fosters collaboration with customers, suppliers, key stakeholders, and category team members.
May lead negotiation and completion of contracts with global strategic and preferred suppliers to maximize benefits.
Implements rigorous and disciplined processes for managing the supply base including leading periodic business reviews, monitoring and managing supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery, technology, service, and leadership), managing supplier relationships, performing root cause analysis and resolution, developing and monitoring supplier improvement plans.

Education and Experience:

Requires minimal job knowledge/skills.
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent with 0 to 3 years of prior related experience.

Qualification:

AA/AS or post-secondary school.

Must Haves:

Computer Skills.
Communication skills - talking with customers and employees.
Being able to learn daily tasks.
Working under pressure during peak busy times (as needed).
Quick learner and Independent.
Dependable.
Ability to prioritize .

Nice To Haves:

Security office skills/working for a defense company.
Working with security software like SIMS and DISS.
Experience with Security Document Control/Visitor Control.
