Our client, an established retailer with multiple locations across Wisconsin, seeks a Manager for their store in southwest Green Bay, Wisconsin. You will oversee overall store performance, lead the execution of complex inventory resets, and manage a team that seasonally fluctuates between 25-35 employees. The ideal candidate will have experience managing a retail property and is extremely hands-on, resourceful, collaborative, and accountable. Assistant Store Managers or Department Managers from Big Box/large scale retailers will be considered. To be successful, you must be comfortable with ambiguity in year one as you experience a complete cycle of seasonal resets and the variables that come into play. Retail Store Manager (Exp. Managing a Team of 20+ Req.) Responsibilities
• Provide hands-on leadership to support store operations, profitability, and customer experience
• Implement and monitor merchandising resets and marketing plans
• Oversee all staff (25-35 people), including Assistant Managers & department leads
• Provide coaching to store associates and Assistant Managers
• Create a daily plan and staff assignments
• Oversee inventory, scheduling, and customer service processes
• Track store performance, KPIs, and proactively address areas of concern
• Start-up computer systems for opening and support cashiers with troubleshooting as needed
• Ensure daily cycle counts are completed and sent to the corporate office
• Align store culture with company vision and values
• Develop strong partnerships with store personnel, buyers, vendors, and corporate leadership
• Protect and maintain company assets and resources.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Retail Store Manager (Exp. Managing a Team of 20+ Req.) Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience as a retail store manager with full ownership of operations is required
• Management experience with 20+ team members is required
• Excellent computer skills, including experience with Inventory & POS software is required
• Ability to attend offsite training 1 day per week for the first 3 months is required
• Ability to work 100% on-site is required
