You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging sessions, and will join a team of experienced and dedicated coaches, developing the next generation of young people to better their lives through sport.<br></p><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>What we offer</strong><br></p><ul><li>Regular hours to suit your schedule;</li><li>London Living Wage salary as a minimum;</li><li>Training and development opportunities across our teams;</li><li>The opportunity to work with the official charity of a Premier League football club;</li><li>Make a difference to the lives of young people in South London.<br></li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Job description</strong><br></p><p>As Premier League Kicks Coach you will:</p><ul><li>Plan and deliver age-appropriate sessions which focus on developing life skills, along with fundamental football skills and techniques, promoting enjoyment for the game across the whole Kicks programme (including Disability and Girls sessions);<br></li><li>Support in the delivery of tournaments/matches, refereeing or managing young people, ensuring that they all receive equal playing time and experience;</li><li>Maintain clear and consistent communication with participants, parents, community partners and other coaching staff;</li><li>Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants during sessions and matches, adhering to Foundation policies and procedures;</li><li>Maintain accurate records for monitoring and evaluation to include attendance and feedback.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Person specification</strong></p><p>As successful candidate you will:</p><ul><li>Have experience in coaching football, ideally within a community engagement or Premier League Kicks environment, with a proven track record of success;</li><li>Be an FA or UEFA qualified coach, ideally at Level 2 or above, or have an appropriate youth work qualification;</li><li>Have a passion for making a difference to young people's lives;</li><li>Be reliable, organised, flexible and willing to learn;</li><li>Be available for some evening, weekend and/or holiday work.</li></ul><ul></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Safeguarding</strong></p><p>We are committed to ensuring the welfare and protection of all children, young people and adults who take part in our activities, and all staff are expected to share this commitment.
