You will be responsible for planning and delivering informative team coaching sessions, and will join a team of experienced and dedicated coaches, developing the next generation of footballers.</p><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>What we offer</strong><br></p><ul><li>Regular hours to suit your schedule;</li><li>London Living Wage salary as a minimum;</li><li>Training and development opportunities across our teams;</li><li>The opportunity to work with the official charity of a Premier League football club;</li><li>Make a difference to the lives of young people in South London.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Job description</strong><br></p><p>As Football Coach you will:</p><ul><li>Plan and deliver age-appropriate training sessions focusing on fundamental skills, movements and techniques, implementing fun and engaging practices that promote player development and enjoyment of the game;</li><li>Manage and coach teams during matches and tournaments, ensuring all players receive equal playing time and experience, providing tactical instructions and encouraging positive sportsmanship; </li><li>Maintain clear and consistent communication with players, parents and other coaching staff; </li><li>Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all players during training sessions and matches, adhering to Foundation policies and procedures;</li><li>Maintain accurate records of attendance and player development.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Person specification</strong></p><p>As successful candidate you will:<br></p><ul><li>Have experience in coaching football, ideally within a talent development environment, with a proven track record of success;</li><li>Be an FA/UEFA qualified coach, ideally at Level 2 or above;</li><li>Be reliable, organised, flexible and wiling to learn;</li><li>Be available for evening, weekend and/or holiday work.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Safeguarding</strong></p><p>We are committed to ensuring the welfare and protection of all children, young people and adults at risk who take part in our activities, and we all staff are expected to share this commitment.
