You will be responsible for appropriate medical supervision and high-quality injury prevention and rehabilitation, joining a team of experienced and dedicated coaches, developing the next generation of footballers.</p><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>What we offer</strong><br></p><ul><li>Regular hours to suit your schedule;</li><li>London Living Wage salary as a minimum;</li><li>Training and development opportunities across our teams;</li><li>The opportunity to work with the official charity of a Premier League football club;</li><li>Make a difference to the lives of young people in South London.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Job description</strong><br></p><p>As Physiotherapist / Sports Therapist you will:</p><ul><li>Liaise with coaching staff regarding players' injury status and availability;</li><li>Design and deliver individual injury prevention programmes;</li><li>Operate within professional boundaries, and follow agreed processes relating to referrals to other colleagues / agencies;</li><li>Keep records which meet the standard required by The FA and the appropriate professional bodies.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Person specification</strong></p><p>As successful candidate you will:</p><ul><li>Have a passion for youth sports development;</li><li>Have experience working with players aged 8-16 in a sport setting;</li><li>Be a HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registered Physiotherapist, or a Sports Therapist who holds a degree in Sports Therapy and has full membership of the SST (Society of Sports Therapy);<br></li><li>Have an in-date Advanced Emergency Aid qualification;</li><li>Be reliable, organised, flexible and willing to learn;<br></li><li>Be available for some evening, weekend and/or holiday work.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><p><strong>Safeguarding</strong></p><p>We are committed to ensuring the welfare and protection of all children, young people and adults at risk who take part in our activities, and we all staff are expected to share this commitment.
