Systems Analyst – Oracle Financial

Position Summary
The Systems Analyst will support functional configuration, implementation and production activities for the Oracle application environment. The client has a global instance of Oracle application; therefore, any implementation or conversion experience is highly desirable. This is an Oracle 12 environment.

Responsibilities

Work with end-users to facilitate issue resolution, troubleshoot functional application issues, develop creative solutions to support their business needs, help determine opportunities to exercise additional Oracle Application capabilities.
Work with the business users to understand business reporting needs, gather & document requirements and functional specifications.
Define functional requirements for technical customizations including reports, forms, and workflows.
Translate functional specifications into detailed system design specifications.
Participate in testing & deployment from Test to Production.
Work with business partners to develop & implement acceptance test plans; coordinate the acceptance test process, validation of results and resolution of problems.
Provide end-user training.
Demonstrate excellent understanding of Oracle ERP application's architecture, data structures and functionality.

Qualifications

3-4 years of experience supporting Oracle Financials is required.
Must have functional knowledge of Oracle Financials modules (AP, AR, GL etc.).
Must have working knowledge of Oracle development tools & languages such as PL/SQL and SQL Plus.
Strong analytical, organizational and prioritizing skills.
Excellent customer service & problem-resolution skills.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills are required.
Willingness to help where needed & be flexible with work assignments.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Nice-to-have (but not required) knowledge of

EIS & other 3rd party reporting tools
CoStar & other 3rd party lease management & accounting tools
Blackline & other 3rd party account reconciliation tools
