Summary:
Provide 3rd line support for SharePoint services (SP 2019, SPO, MS teams, One-Drive, Power Platform, Nintex) operating under a best practice, Agile Methodology.
Respond to service outages which affect client's business operation and reputation, including out of hours escalations as part of a 24 x 7 on-call Rota
Ability to solve problems, quickly and completely and to communicate them clearly to peers, customers, and management
Work with change management, developers, project teams, business teams and vendors to provide guidance and assist in the deployment of SharePoint platform updates and applications and site development/front end development

SME skills:

Overall operational responsibilities:
• Review the information provided in new requests against agreed approvals criteria, rejecting or approving as appropriate
• Create and maintain templated communications and published intranet guidance about how to use the service, consulting key stakeholders to gain consensus on content
• Manage the resolution of incidents for the application and its infrastructure in compliance with existing and relevant SLAs
• Ensure that operational documentation (technical notes, incident resolution notes, installation procedures etc.) is developed and maintained up to date and stored in the appropriate document repository
• When a Major incident occurs, reprioritize work in accordance with the requirements dictated by the Major Incident Manager
• Working with the business to advise on their use of SharePoint, guiding audience and preparing knowledge articles
• Perform root cause analysis on problems, plan for remediation to avoid future occurrences

Tools and Skills Required:
• Hands-on experience on SharePoint 2019 On-Premises/Online on customizing the site collections as per the customer requirements.
• Working knowledge on M365 Tools: SharePoint Online, Teams, One Drive for Business, Apps, Flows, Power Automate, Power BI, Planner, VIVA Engage.
• InfoPath and Workflows OOB and Nintex (Assist in design and development of complex solutions, demonstrate, transform)
• Experience in using ticketing tools like Service Now, building report dashboards, demand management module usage
• HTML and CSS knowledge is an advantage

Additional responsibilities regardless of team include:
• Accountable for execution according to established standards, procedures, and processes
• Maintaining expert-level functional knowledge of UK Technology applications and service offerings
• Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to internal or external teams
• Contribute ideas for new tools and identify optimization areas and look for automating existing processes
• Ensures Priority 1 and High Priority incidents are addressed with urgency
• Work with ITS leadership and applications teams in reviewing new documentations.

Self-Development:
• Keeps abreast of programs / certifications relevant to role. Proactively attends appropriate level's programs and gets certified.
• Regularly informs leadership of new process / modes of working which have produced tangible improvements.
• Effectively adapts communication style to achieve desired outcome amongst audience.
