What You Will Do:
Mediaocean is offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic team player to join our APAC Technical Services team. In this role, you will contribute to Mediaocean’s success by providing software solution support for our industry-leading products. You will build relationships across the region as the interface between the Development and Customer Experience teams. You will play a critical role in taking the software from the Development teams and deploying it to the end user sites. The L2 Software Support Analyst provides day-to-day operational services and technical support to Mediaocean staff and customers on the technology on which Mediaocean’s applications are built.
Responsibilities will include:
- Provide Level 2 application and technical support for the Mediaocean software solutions
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding and support the technical environment underpinning the Mediaocean suite of applications on a Windows Server environment
- Provide database related activities such as installation, configuration, patching, upgrading, migrating, performance monitoring and capacity planning at client sites and for internal systems
- Perform installations, upgrades and maintenance of the Mediaocean applications suite at client sites
- Maintain existing process documentation and contribute to the Knowledge Base
Who You Are:
- Previous experience with Microsoft server and desktop operating systems
- Previous experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle) within a corporate environment
- Proven research and analytical skills
- Excellent attention to detail, demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve and manage expectations
- Strong customer service focus and client relationship skills
- Experience working alongside Product Development to troubleshoot and improve application software
- Possess relevant technical qualifications or be working towards Microsoft certifications in SQL Server or Windows Server, or Oracle database certification
- Should be comfortable working in Australian shifts.
