This is what you'll do:
You will work on Rivian's core services platform team as a software engineer. You will be involved in designing, developing, and deploying into production, cloud-based applications and services that support different
partner teams for their customer facing user experiences. You will design and build web services and APIs that support these data processes. The core services platform team is a foundational team that supports all partner teams with their orchestration workflow
& API needs that are common across the multiple teams to build a scalable backend services eco-system.
This is what you'll need:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering; Master's degree a plus.
• Deep knowledge of Amazon's AWS ecosystem.
• Five plus years in a software developer position.
• Five plus years developing code in Python.
• Good understanding of one of the application frameworks like Flask, Django, FastAPI, Chalice, is a MUST.
• Knowledge of software development technologies, processes, and tools (i.e., Agile software development)
• Knowledge of web services / RESTful APIs.
• Database experience like DynamoDB is highly desired and knowledge of SQL and NoSQL models.
• Understanding/working experience of AWS Lambda/Serverless computing would be a bonus.
