We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a deep understanding of investment banking, including Front, Middle, and Back Office functionns for a Hybrid contract role in Boston,MA.
Position Overview:
As a Business Analyst,you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our investment banking operations. You will leverage your strong industry knowledge to analyze business processes, identify areas for improvement, and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Investment Banking Expertise: Bring extensive knowledge and experience in investment banking, including Front, Middle, and Back Office functions, to the team.
Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the investment banking domain.
Documentation: Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
Communication: Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives.
Project Management: Manage and support the execution of projects related to investment banking operations, including Front, Middle, and Back Office functions.
Data Analysis: Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure that investment banking processes are compliant with industry regulations.
Training: Provide training and support to end-users as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the investment banking sector.
Strong knowledge of Front, Middle, and Back Office functions within investment banking.
Proven experience in process analysis, documentation, and optimization.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Project management experience and relevant certifications are a plus.
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
