Our direct client, a very large global data center, is looking for an engineer with programming and scripting skills in the automation of the entire data center operations lifecycle. You will work with systems and data center buildouts to include Error Management, Automation in areas of Networking, Unix and Windows Systems Administration, Database, Storage, Security, VM, etc. You'll be creating automation software to automate these processes.

Instead of writing business applications, this is pure systems instructions; no front-end software application development. This is internal systems programming.
Excellent opportunity to interface with security, unix, linux, windows, network, database teams. Key role in friendly, low stress, smart group of coworkers.
Requires:
A selection of skills in the following areas is preferred:

Java/Javascript (not applications coding but the ability to recognize and troubleshoot general lines of code)
Perl
Ruby
Shell
Python
Powershell a plus
C, C++, Unix C
Ansible, Docker, Chef, Puppet

Ability to identify and debug simple java code is a huge plus
Ability to write automation frameworks
Supreme troubleshooting skills
Understanding of high availability, cluster management, redundancy, and failover testing
Network architecture knowledge
8+ years plus experience in software and support
