We are recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator to join reputable, family run SME based in Leeds. You will join a friendly purchasing team and contribute towards their growing success. We are looking for an analytical, detail-oriented professional with a knack for negotiation and a passion for supply chain management. As Purchasing Coordinator you will ensure supply certainty for their customers by building strong supplier partnerships, optimizing costs, accurately forecasting demand, and maintaining efficient stock management. This role is pivotal in supporting seamless operations and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
1. Efficient Supplier Management (20% of time)
2. Demand Forecasting and Cost Management (15% of time)
3. Purchase Order Processing (25% of time)
4. Stock Management (15% of time)
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration (15% of time)
6. Supplier Evaluation and Budget Tracking (5% of time)
7. Reporting and Process Improvement (5% of time)
Requirements
Hours- Monday- Friday 7am-4.30pm or 7.30am-5pm
