Job Description

As an Infrastructure and Facility Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure and facilities.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our IT systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Management:

Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, network devices, and storage systems.
Deploy, configure, and monitor hardware and software resources to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with the IT team to plan and implement infrastructure upgrades and enhancements.
Develop and implement IT security protocols and procedures, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and access control systems to protect the company's data and network resources.
Oversee the maintenance and operation of the facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to ensure efficient and effective operation.
Manage the installation, operation, and maintenance of low voltage infrastructure, including CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements for IT and facility operations. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the longevity and reliability of all facility and IT equipment.

Incident Management:

Manage and prioritize incoming support tickets, ensuring SLA targets are met and incidents are properly documented.
Investigate and resolve system and application-related incidents, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.

System Monitoring and Maintenance:

Monitor system performance, security, and availability, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues.
Perform routine system maintenance, patches, updates, and backups to ensure a secure and stable environment.

Documentation:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
Contribute to the knowledge base to empower users with self-help resources.

Collaboration:

Collaborate with IT teams, cross-functional departments, and external vendors to drive IT projects, improvements, and initiatives.
Participate in meetings and discussions to provide technical insights and contribute to strategic decisions.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience (5 years) as an Infrastructure Engineer, Facility Engineer, or in a similar IT support role.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, networking principles, server administration, and cloud technologies(AWS/Azure).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues.
Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach to support.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network CCNP/CCIE, Microsoft Certified: AWS/Azure Certified, etc.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
