Sr. Supply Chain Analyst to join their team.
Title: Sr. Supply Chain AnalystLocation: Torrance, CA
Length of Assignment: PermanentSalary: $75,000-$85,000/yr.Position Summary: The Sr. Supply Chain Analyst must be a resourceful problem solver with excellent time management skills. This individual must be an eager self-starter, very well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Additionally, this individual will be a techno functional expert and will be fully responsible for providing value added improvements and enhancements to our SCM operating processes & system platform(s). The position reports to the AVP, Supply Chain and will collaborate with other internal team/stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Drive change through identification, design and implementation of robust processes/strategies that improve supply chain efficiency
- An ERP techno-functional expert that will be immersed in project delivery of ERP Enhancement(s) across the Enterprise
- Analyze data to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements through automation/visualization and other tools
- Organize and lead weekly/monthly collaboration & review meetings with stakeholders
- Track/Report out SCM KPI's and Scorecards
- Make predictive analysis of KPIs and drive proactive measures
- Supporting assigned tasks on improvement projects
- Help scope, develop and execute on our inventory planning initiatives
- Support inventory optimization initiatives based on strategic direction of company initiatives
- Work closely with business unit to understand customer requirements and forecasts
- Work with cross functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities
- A Demand/Forecasting expert that will perform demand planning activities in order to ensure high customer service levels with optimal inventory levels
- Maintain the forecast and related parameters with a deep understanding of statistical modeling/inputs & outputs
- Use best practice SCM principles to comprehend all factors that can influence and affect the forecast, and communicate these factors to sales, marketing and operations
- Continuously identify and develop areas for improvement related to the forecasting process
- Perform trend analysis to report inconsistencies with forecasts and actual sales
- Create and maintain performance metrics comparing forecasts to actual sales
- Communicate and cooperate within a cross-functional environment
- Be proactive in establishing relationships with key internal customers and counterparts in supply planning, marketing, sales, physical logistics, accounting, and other departments
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred
- APICS certification (CSCP, CPIM or equivalent) preferred
- 6-8 years of related Supply Chain / Logistics experience
- Continuous improvement and change management mindset
- Experienced in data mining, analysis and reporting
- Proficient in QAD or other ERP system experience
- Experienced in automation tools is preferred (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Alteryx, Automation Anywhere/A360)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Highly analytical, detail oriented
- Problem-solving aptitude
- Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
