We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Senior Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective implementation and management of several procurement programs, ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Procurement Manager to develop and maintain reporting tools
- Create and maintain multiple KPI tracking sheets to report compliance to program
- Perform ad hoc tasks to help support the development of new and existing procurement programs
- Manages the vendor creation process and database
- Create and manage vendor contract database
- Challenge processes and develop recommendations for improvements
- Provide functional support for internal D365 users
- Analyze information – Able to extract, consolidate, structure, and analyze large amounts of data from disparate data sources to draw conclusions and insights.

- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers and products.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations related to procurement activities.
- Develop and maintain procurement records, reports, and documentation.
- Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities meet their needs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes and procedures.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or supply chain management
- 3 - 5 years prior work experience
- Prior experience in program management, procurement, corporate finance, accounting, or administration
Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart
- Experience with program administration or project management
- Experience building large databases within an ERP system
- Expert-level in Microsoft Excel (i.e., you use keyboard shortcuts instead of a mouse)
- High level of understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365
Travel requirements
10% - as needed travel to Enviva manufacturing sites / offices, vendor sites
Working Conditions
- 90% - Indoor, Enviva and/or vendor office
- 10% - Mixed indoor/outdoor industrial manufacturing environment at Enviva manufacturing sites and / or vendor sites
