The Diversity and Inclusion Internship Program at The Henry Ford is a cohort-based program that offers professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities. We invite diverse candidates* who are curious about careers in the museum world to become a part of our legacy and take it forward. For Winter 2025, internships will last 15 weeks, projected to begin on January 21st and conclude on May 2nd.

How will we work together?
The Registrars Intern can expect to work fully on-site at The Henry Ford’s campus in Dearborn, MI.
This internship opportunity will be led by the Associate Registrar at The Henry Ford and supported by our Registrars Team.
As our Registrars Intern you will:
This is an opportunity to hone your research and cataloguing skills by improving the catalog records of hundreds of objects by working with our collections management database (EMu), conducting provenance and object research, and assisting with inventory projects. You will gain valuable professional cataloguing experience.

What should you have?
To be successful, the Registrars Intern should have an interest in museum collections cataloguing as well as a demonstrated commitment to material culture through academic, professional, or volunteer experience.
