Responsibilities
- Perform initial and advanced mechanical design calculations for equipment, structures, and piping.
- Develop and implement safety and quality control procedures for mechanical engineering projects.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and improve mechanical systems and equipment.
- Participate in the development of proposals, manage project scopes, budgets and schedules.
- Interpret mechanical drawings and prepare design specifications, bills of materials and installation procedures.
- Work as a team member to design and optimize mechanical systems and equipment.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and colleagues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Familiar with engineering technical specifications, data sheet and RFQ. Capable to review mechanical design submittals in accordance to Aramco standards.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in the Oil & Energy industry.
- Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, including HVAC systems, pumps, compressors, turbines and piping.
- Proficiency in engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ANSYS.
- Knowledge of national and international codes and standards, such as ASME, API, and ISO.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
