Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Write SOAP notes for audio conversations/transcripts
Review SOAP notes and fix any errors
Ensure compliance with all national and local patient privacy laws including HIPAA and HITECH
Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy
Should be familiar with regulations e.g. 2021 CPT and E/M coding changes

Qualification

At least 2 years experience as a medical scribe in the outpatient primary care domain
previous experience annotating SOAP notes from audio files/transcripts
Have a degree in either
Computational Linguistics
Biotechnology
Biochemistry
Botany
B.Pharm
Good English literacy.
Bachelor’s degree with pre-med career track
Bonus: Medical Scribe certification
Experience as a data annotator for machine learning
Excellent typing speed
Familiarity with billing codes
Experience working for other automated medical scribe companies such as Nuance, DeepScribe, Augmedix
