Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Associate

As an FPA &analyst at Singulier you will act as a real business partner in providing relevant analyses to help the decision-making process for the Leadership team. You will report directly to the CFO in a context of creating the controlling team. You will become a pillar of a small and agile performing finance team.  This job will evolve over time and requires flexibility and significant growth opportunity

Lead development of the company annual operating budget and forecasts

·       Work with senior leadership and individual department heads to develop annual budget

·       Complete regular reforecasts and ad hoc analyses as needed

·       Issue regular BvA reports

·       Manage, document and continuously improve company-wide budgeting process

Manage all company Management Information and reporting

·       Runs financial processes, performance reporting and helps architect the information flow and methodologies.

·       Produce materials for business reviews to the senior leadership team

·       Review company/project performance using accurate and relevant KPIs, thereby improving the decision-making capabilities of the management and leadership team

Lead monthly closing process

·       Perform monthly finance closing, consolidation and variance analysis with the highest quality, reliability and accuracy for the group executives and shareholders

·       Implement, run, and continuously improve monitoring and reporting tools, in order to automate and streamline routine work and existing processes, and support the growth of the company.

Systems and process implementation

·       Define and implement tooling automation action plan

·       Lead financial implementation of key systems as the company grows and develops

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience: 

•         Minimum of 5 years + experience in a consultancy firm and/or start-up or scaleup

•         Master Degree in Finance from a business School or university

•         Excellent analytical skills, rigorous and organized

•         Strong written and verbal communication skills

•         Solid knowledge in finance and accounting

•         Strong ethics with ability to manipulate confidential information

•         High level of innovative problem-solving abilities

•         Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to work individually as well as in a team environment

•         Fluent in both French and English

Recommended Skills and Experience:

·       Proficiency with Sage and/ or  Stafiz is a strong plus

·       Experience communicating with senior stakeholders
