Recovery Collector I

Nesco Resource is looking for a Late Stage & Recovery Collector I for account management in a delinquent payment status. This entry-level role involves collecting past-due amounts according to company guidelines. This position is temporary and lasting between 6months to 1 year.

Operating hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This temporary full-time position requires a 40-hour workweek, with occasional Saturday shifts on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting customer outreach via calls, email, text, and chat for collections.
• Assisting customers through inbound calls to address account issues.
• Collecting past-due amounts from assigned customer portfolios.
• Negotiating repayment agreements and managing payment extensions.
• Tracking and obtaining customer contact information for maximizing recovery efforts.
• Liaising with repair facilities, dealerships, and impound centers regarding vehicle statuses and releases.
• Thorough documentation of all interactions within the account management system.
• Collaborating with departments and reporting on collection activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 1-2 years of auto finance collections/skip tracing preferred.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency beneficial.
• Proficiency in computer operation and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multi-line phone systems and provide excellent customer service.

Pay is $17-$19 per hour.
