Mentor Coach

PROFILE

As with all employees at Mentoring Alliance, the Mentor Coach (MC) is considered a minister of the gospel. The MC is a Christ-follower who sets an example for believers and nonbelievers and leads a life above reproach. This person flourishes in a biblically grounded, grace-based, Christ-centered, excellence-driven, and multiethnic work environment.

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of the Mentor Coach is to cultivate mutually transforming mentor/mentee relationships through coaching all members of a match team.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

1. Recruiting: Identify, cultivate, and manage partnerships with churches, schools, and other organizations in the community for the purposes of mentor recruitment.
   
2. Match Oversight: Provide support, guidance, and insight to each member of the match as needed
   
3. Safety & Compliance: Ensures compliance with all MA safety standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Actively involved in a local church
  
• Bachelor’s or experience equivalent in Social Work, Education, Counseling, or other related fields.
  
• 3-5 years or more of experience working with students and families from various backgrounds.
  
• Ability to counsel adults from a Biblical perspective.
  
• Excellence in communication and interpersonal skills with people from various backgrounds.
  
• Computer knowledge and skills to use Microsoft Office effectively and implement the database that is used to track relationships.
