Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, Business Information Technology, etc.)
- 8+ years working on IT projects
- 5+ years working on Budgeting Solutions
- 5+ years working with federal/state/local government as client
- Proficient in MS Word 2013, MS Excel 2013, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook
- Experience with TFS, Rational Tools, and Microsoft development environment (Visual Studio)
Desired Qualifications - Expert understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC)
- Expert understanding of the Agile software development methodology
- Expert in all phases of testing and defect management.
- Ability to decompose requirements to Test Scenarios and Test Cases
- Expert understanding of creating a requirements traceability matrix (RTM)
- Ability to review requirements and identify gaps
- Self-motivated individual with the ability to multi-task

Key Responsibilities
A Quality Assurance (QA)/Lead Tester will be involved in all the phases of the software testing life cycle. The QA/Lead Tester will be responsible for creating Test Plans, Test Scenarios, perform Requirements review, manage test efforts including hands on testing, Test data identification, generate Test reports and coordinate User Acceptance testing. The QA/Lead Tester will also participate in Defect Triage meetings and deliver Test Status Reports to customer.
