Job Title- HR Shared Services Assistant
Location - The Woodland, TX
Duration - 12 months
Shift hours- Onsite 1st shift 


Top 3 Must-Have Skills
1. Prior experience in HRIS platform with Workday a must
2. Must be task-oriented and be able to consistently meet deadlines
3. Highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously with general direction


What will be expected from you?
  • Serve as Tier 1 HR support for employee and manager questions including but not limited to background check and drug screen, new hire orientation, I-9 process, and HR policy interpretation.
  • Manage and respond in a timely manner to inquiries or escalate to other HR functions as appropriate.
  • Coordinate programs and processes with third parties including but not limited to relocation, and drug testing.
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional team members to resolve employee issues in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Pursue and share best practices with team.
  • Perform back-office transactions for general HR data processing in support of HR functions, including running ad-hoc and scheduled reports, data entry, data reconciliation, and sending communications.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.

What are we looking for in the ideal candidate?
  • Prior experience in HRIS platform with Workday a must.
  • Proactively partners with Payroll, HRIS associates and vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws as they apply to the hiring process.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience working in a HR Call Center or HR Shared Service Center preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ability to deliver excellent employee experience via email, telephone, and in person.
  • Ability to establish relationships quickly and easily.
  • Ability to work well under pressure with excellent time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be task-oriented and be able to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously with general direction.
