Product Analytics team! As a
Senior Product Analyst (m/f/d), your role will be instrumental in
shaping our product development process into a more
data-driven and
proactive approach. You will be partnering with different product teams to facilitate a
data-centric decision-making.
Your role goes beyond delivering data insights; you’ll help shaping the future of our product by fostering a proactive, data-driven culture, encouraging innovation, and enabling our product teams to become more self-reliant in their decision-making processes. This is an exciting opportunity to play a transformative role in our organization.
Your Responsibilities:
- Data-Driven Marketplace: Function as an analytical ally to our product teams. You’ll generate insights and drive a data-driven product development process, ensuring we make decisions rooted in robust analysis.
- Customer Understanding: A profound understanding of our users and products will be central to your role. You’ll utilize data to understand user behaviors and needs, such as their search habits, to create business value and improve our taxonomy.
- Consultative Analytics: Provide detailed answers to key questions and offer insight-driven recommendations to our product teams.
- Data Enablement: Partner with product teams to boost their data capabilities, empowering them to access, understand, and analyze data independently.
Your Profile:
- You are self-motivated, proactive, and a true data enthusiast with a degree in economics, data science, mathematics/statistics or a related field, supplemented by several years of relevant experience in analytics, customer insights, data science, or data-driven consulting.
- Competent in querying large volumes of data using SQL.
- Familiarity with Python scripting and data analysis tools like data frames, pandas, pyarrow, Jupyter notebooks, regex, and plotting tools.
- Advanced, hands-on knowledge of statistics to set up A/B testing and validate hypotheses.
- Understanding of Google Analytics and proficiency in tracking implementation is a plus.
- Expertise in data visualization with MicroStrategy, PowerBI, Superset, or Tableau, i.e., building cubes, modeling data, and creating/automating reports.
- Knowledge in creating and maintaining data pipelines is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills as you’ll act as the go-to person for our product teams.
- Fluency in English is required.
