What you’ll do:
As Director Pricing & Commercial Strategy, you will lead our dynamic Commercial Excellence team. Working in close partnership with various departments from Sales, Product and Marketing, you will help us to find solutions for monetization of our AutoScout24 platform. You will be responsible for conceptionally developing our monetization approach and pricing strategy, planning and preparing pricing adjustment and executing them across our five European markets. Your work, insights and thought leadership will have a significant impact to drive monetization of our services, strategically build business models in B2B and B2C and driving the top-line growth of AutoScout24.
- Autonomously lead in a very broad range, from pricing adjustments to defining appropriate commercial models for our customers
- Plan, design and execute changes in our pricing strategies of various product categories within our European businesses
- Closely collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Product and Marketing in cross-functional projects
- Take over a leading role in the development and the design of new products and business models and become the commercial thought-leader and trusted partner for our country managers and executive management
- Elaborate decision-making foundations for AutoScout24's top-level management and shareholders in partnership with other involved departments
- You will lead a team of 4-5 commercial experts and have strong x-functional connections
What you should bring:
- You graduated in economics or in a field with a distinct analytical focus (e.g. computer science, data science, mathematics to name a few)
- You have at least 4-5 years full time relevant work experience in a well-established and renowned consulting company (with a dedicated focus on either Pricing and/or Classifieds / Digital business models)
- Ideally experience in designing and running pricing-oriented customers surveys
- In this position, you have led projects autonomously (i.e. steered a team / workstreams) and handled the client interaction
- You are used to presenting your work to a senior (Management) audience or investors and handling multiple stakeholders
- You have excellent communication skills in English and at least a basic understanding of German and are experienced in structuring and presenting your results to a senior audience
- You have a proven track record working in highly cross-functional projects esp. working together with Sales, Product and Marketing
- You have a smart business sense, and you are a characterized by your solution-oriented attitude
- You have strong analytical skills and a passion for facts and numbers
- You are driving decisions and have a proven track record in executing projects structured and target oriented
