<p>We are looking for an <strong>Assistant Manager</strong> to join our <strong>NY</strong> team.</p><p>At SNS you will get to work for a global company with passionate and fun colleagues. You will also become an important voice of SNS within the local community in<strong> NYC</strong><strong>.</strong></p><p><strong>Main responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Driving sales in the store, selling actively by yourself and coaching the team in sales and excellent customer service.</li> <li>Support the City Operations Manager in the daily operations of the store such as staff scheduling, team communication, shipping, and deliveries, overall maintenance of the store, bills and invoicing, etc.</li> <li>Responsible for opening and closing of the store and ensuring that the cash/closing reporting is accurate.</li> <li>Follow up and analyse sales figures and KPIs, plan and ensure the shop floor is optimized.</li> <li>Create a safe and engaging work environment, see to that health and safety standards are adhered to in the store, and manage eventual external staff including security.</li> <li>Ensure the store is merchandised and stocked properly and that the visual appearance of the store is in line with SNS standards.</li> <li>Support the marketing department and with promotional events, and local activations when needed.</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>Skill requirements and soft skills</strong></p><ul> <li>Excellent knowledge of sneakers, streetwear, and current trends.</li> <li>A driven, initiative-taking problem solver.</li> <li>Strong collaboration and communication skills.</li> <li>Strong self-awareness.</li> <li>Flexible and adaptive to rapid changes.</li> <li>Ability to work effectively without supervision.</li> <li>At least 2 years of experience within retail.</li> </ul><p> </p><p><strong>About SNS</strong></p><p>SNS is a brand founded in 1999 out of the love and curiosity for the culture and life around Sneakers, Fashion, Art, Music and Basketball.
