JOB SUMMARY: The North American E-Commerce Merchandising Manager will lead the day-to-day strategy and implementation of key web pages and all products for the company's US and Canadian websites, on both desktop and mobile. This role will require working closely with cross-functional teams and additionally manage external agencies.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as the leader and selling agent of our NA Ecommerce business
With support from the Director of Ecommerce, assume the role of selling the best merchandise focusing on the right time, customer segment, with the most effective message
Champion the brand's products, values and message in all web content that you lead and build
Track, measure, and ensure the NA Ecommerce business meets its daily, weekly and monthly sales objectives
Track inter-day sales reads to communicate trends
Use behavioral data to recommend and implement improvements to drive performance
Have strong command over all Ecommerce metrics including sessions, conversion rate, ATV, add-to-basket rate, bounce rate, and revenue, and be able to manipulate strategy to improve each metric as needed
Manage the marketing and merchandising of the company's US and Canadian website and overall portfolio of merchandise:
Manage the overall portfolio of merchandise that is offered by ensuring strong, customer-centric categorization and updated content:
Update categorization and content (weekly and campaign reviews) based on strategic thinking and performance
Use robust data analysis combined with visual curation to inform the optimal placement of products on landing pages to drive conversion and sales revenue
Build titles, metatags, and product descriptions with strong SEO strategy to improve rankings for all affected products on Google Search
Partner with marketing teams to support the creation of new products and bundles ready to sell on the webstore
Manage external agency owning the product auto-replenishment
Manage the product marketing and merchandising for new campaign launches:
Help collect and optimize the imagery and copy needed for all products and campaigns
Optimize the product pages and cross-sells to clearly and attractively convey the benefits to potential customers, encouraging them to buy
Own the implementation and post-analysis of all WEB product pages including weekly and monthly sales reporting:
Consistently review data and UX paths to continuously optimize merchandising, product page setup, and customer-facing information
Deliver Website performance metrics for monthly P&L analysis
Execute ad hoc Website reports as needed
Lead personalization, cross-sell, and product testing on the Website:
Ideate and build out new personalization experiences directly in Salesforce Commerce Cloud back office
Drive strategy and brief experiences and project-manage them to launch
A/B test new marketing initiatives and apply key learnings
Leverage other markets' best practices and optimize to implement locally in North America
Partner with cross-functional teams (Retail Marketing, Customer Acquisition, Email, CRM, Retail, PR) to help support special requests and ad hoc projects
Own Ecommerce relationship with Supply Chain team:
Help manage out of stock as well as overstock and sell-through on the Web
Requires strong communication skills to others within the business regarding stock priorities and solutions
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: BA / BS required
4-5+ years' experience in E-Commerce Marketing
An entrepreneurial and sales driven mindset with the rigor and discipline to build the business and creative competencies that will allow the brand to stand out in the market
Ability to understand, report and react against marketing and merchandising KPIs
Strategic, analytical and creative thinker
Experience with various Content Management Systems (Wordpress, Demandware/Salesforce, Drupal, etc)
Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note)
