Hi, we’re TechnologyAdvice.

At TechnologyAdvice, we pride ourselves on helping B2B tech buyers manage the complexity and risk of the buying process. We are a trusted source of information for tech buyers, delivering advice and facilitating connections between our buyers and the world’s leading sellers of business technology.

Headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, we are a remote-first company with more than 20 digital publications and over 500 global team members in the US, UK, Singapore, Australia, and the Philippines. We’re proud to have been repeatedly recognized as one of America’s fastest growing private companies by Inc., as well as a Tennessee top workplace. We work hard each day and have fun, too, with monthly virtual events, recreational slack channels, and the occasional costumed dance from our CEO.

All positions are open to remote work unless otherwise specified in the requirements below.

You will have full ownership over developing the structure, processes, and team necessary to ensure our events are successful. As the Global Event Manager, you will plan, manage, and execute both in-person and virtual events, transforming them into products that align with our strategic objectives. You need to be highly organized, skilled at project management, KPI-oriented, and excited about fast-paced work. Our mission is to deliver events that not only meet but exceed our stakeholders' expectations.

  • Comprehensive Event Management: Oversee pre-event preparation, data analysis, logistics management, supplier coordination, budget management, and post-event close-out to deliver high-quality events.
  • Supplier and Vendor Management: Manage supplier selections, contract negotiations, and RFP processes for each event, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Event Promotion and Design: Develop and execute event promotion plans. Lead the conceptual design, speaker management, audience generation, event production (virtual, hybrid, in-person), and post-event follow-up and analysis.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Own individual event budgets and invoicing, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
