Welcome Center Representative

Pay Rate: 12.00/hr
Location: 1247 I-75, 4 miles North of Yulee on I-75 South Jennings, FL 32053
Schedule: Wednesday Sunday or Friday - Tuesday 8:00am 5:00pm 40 hours/week
Position will be extended pending performance of resources.
Vendors are also going to be required to provide PPE for their candidates at each location. (N-95 or disposable masks, gloves, face shields or safety glasses, and hand sanitizer).
The Welcome Center Representative provides service regarding the SunPass Program to walk in customers at FDOT Welcome Centers. This is accomplished by understanding customer needs, determining the best course of action to resolve inquiries, and meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Exercises independent thinking in meeting customer needs while adhering to operational business guidelines.

Responsibilities:
Assists Welcome center visitors with inquiries regarding the SunPass Program.
Advises travelers of the program special features, toll rate calculations, and account maintenance efficiencies.
Activates transponders, creates new accounts, updates and adds funds to SunPass prepaid accounts using appropriate account access tools.
Combines product knowledge, good work ethic, effective time management and human relation skills to meet performance standards and positively influence the SunPass image.
Prepares activity reports and provides feedback to assist with program improvements.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent verbal, written, communication, data entry, and PC skills
Strong analytical skills and ability to follow through on commitments
Ability to maintain composure working face to face with customers
Strong time management and organizational skills
