Business Analyst- Data Quality

Duties: Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team in the data quality space. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a data quality initiative to ensure the quality and accuracy of regulatory reporting data. The candidate will also be responsible for data mapping and lineage definition in order to produce accurate reconciliations across multiple sources. The candidate will perform gap analysis and deep dive into data mismatches and exceptions, and validate mapping rules and logic. The candidate should have a strong understanding of trade, counterparty, and account data, as well as a regulatory background. Knowledge of Flextrade/Bloomberg/Winfits systems is a plus. The candidate should have experience with TRF/ORF (listed and OTC Equity Reporting), Equity Trading (Listed and OTC Equities), Regulatory Option Trading Reporting, and Trace Reporting (Corporate/Agency Debt Products/Securitized Products, Treasury Products).

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop business requirement documentation/functional specification documentation

- Implement a data quality initiative to ensure quality and accuracy of regulatory reporting data

- Define data mapping and lineage to produce accurate reconciliations across multiple sources

- Perform gap analysis and deep dive into data mismatches and exceptions, and validate mapping rules and logic

- Understand trade, counterparty, and account data

- Have a regulatory background

- Knowledge of Flextrade/Bloomberg/Winfits systems

- Experience with TRF/ORF (listed and OTC Equity Reporting), Equity Trading (Listed and OTC Equities), Regulatory Option Trading Reporting, and Trace Reporting (Corporate/Agency Debt Products/Securitized Products, Treasury Products)

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or related field

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a plus
