D365 F&O Functional Consultant

• Serve as liaison between IT Department and functional business units for ERP support
• Interface with business stakeholders, management, and technical teams to drive projects and support complex business operations across different industries/organizations
• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end-users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
• Integrate with Report Developers to help maintain financial and operational reporting requirements
• Engage with ISV to provide line-of-business integration for Projects and Project Management-specific work, as well as support of fuel and feed/consumption products
• Integrate with client's International entities for required locale-specific support, including specialized government reporting

• Facilitate ongoing upgrades of D365 platform + ISV integration, including strategy, validation, UAT and training
• Support D365 integration of connected systems (i.e., reporting, data warehouse, invoicing/document management)
• Work with IT team to establish and maintain governance, risk and compliance requirements
• Provide as-needed support of legacy Dynamics AX/GP/NAV content
• Work with team to optimize system performance and reliability

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting or equivalent training and/or on-the-job experience required

• Three - five years' experience working in complex IT environments or functioning as Senior Business Analyst in enterprise environment
• At least three years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance & Operations), or recent versions of Microsoft Dynamics platforms (i.e., AX, NAV or GP)
• Working knowledge of M365, including Office, Teams, SharePoint Online
• SQL & basic reporting experience preferred
• Accounting experience preferred
• Experience with industry-standard project management methodologies preferred

• Ability to integrate with both highly technical resources and non-technical customers/business units
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence direction
• Keen attention to detail, excellent listening and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to quickly research and assess new solutions
• Highly motivated and self-directed in prioritization/execution of work in a high-pressure environment
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented setting

• Resource is based out of a corporate office in Colwich, Kansas (suburb of Wichita), though flexible work programs to better support work-life balance are available
• Extensive interaction across IT Dept including Business Analysts, Report Developer, Applications Support Engineer, backed by Network/Server/Security Admins, and supported by end-user-facing helpdesk team
• Role may require infrequent travel for integration with remote sites, projects, and training (less than 10% travel)
