Senior Business Analyst (SQL, SSRS, Tableau)

• Proficiency in basic SQL scripting and the ability to execute RDBMS queries for data extraction.
• Proficiency in writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and documenting project-related information.
• Familiarity with reporting processes from a user perspective, including the creation and execution of reports using SSRS and Tableau.
• Experience with larger-scale Cloud-based systems used within the context of enterprise-level Business Analysis.
• Proven ability to be a self-starter, capable of driving projects and associated initiatives with minimal supervision. This role is at a senior level and requires a high degree of autonomy.

• Requirements Gathering: Create detailed business requirements for both functional (e.g., business processes, rules) and non-functional (e.g., data, security) capabilities.
• Quality Assurance: Validate test cases to ensure they effectively evaluate the functionality being performed.
• Data Interpretation: Gather and interpret information from multiple sources, including databases and interviews, to make informed recommendations.
• Documentation: Provide support for application development teams by documenting business processes and translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Management: Participate in developing estimates and implementation plans for technical solutions, collaborate with team members to create project schedules, reports, and documentation. May lead small to medium-sized projects and provide guidance to team members.
• User Experience: Collaborate with User Experience / Design resources to visualize requirements into prototypes.
• Risk Management: Apply principles of risk management, issue tracking, and change management.
• Database Skills: Ability to query a database using SQL and create reports in SSRS/Tableau. Experience writing scripts for data manipulation.
• Vendor Collaboration: Work with vendors to submit and resolve service requests and incidents.
• Financial Systems: Ideally, the candidate should have experience with financial accounting systems.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
