Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at Salt Lake Crossing, you will play a key role in ensuring our luxury multi-family property is maintained at the highest standard. You’ll be responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance and repair tasks to keep our community running efficiently and ensuring a five-star living and working experience for residents and members. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to service excellence will help elevate the resident experience in our premium apartments and coworking spaces.

What you will do

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment, facilities, and grounds are in top condition.
• Respond promptly to work orders, requests, and concerns from residents and staff regarding maintenance issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of common areas, including fitness centers, spas, lounges, and other amenities.
• Ensure that all mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other essential systems are operating efficiently.
• Conduct inspections of apartment homes and property grounds for potential safety hazards or maintenance needs, performing repairs as necessary.
• Assist in overseeing third-party contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed to company standards.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance coverage.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role within a luxury residential or hospitality setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
• Organized with a strong attention to detail.
• Passion for creating memorable experiences.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism under pressure.
