Email Data Acquisition Specialist

As an Email Data Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and acquiring high-quality email lists for our clients. You will leverage your data mining and analysis skills to identify potential data sources, negotiate deals, and ensure data quality meets our stringent standards.

Responsibilities

• Data Management: Manage existing relationships with data suppliers, including Bulk, Good data/Advertisers, Signals, Abuse like Blackbox & ZB. Refine and optimize the current data intake process.
• Data Quality Assurance: Test and evaluate the quality of new data feeds to ensure they meet our standards.
• Data Acquisition: Source and onboard new, unique, and high-quality data providers, focusing on deals that offer more unique emails, signals, and good data without requiring a 50% revenue share.
• Product Development (Nice to Have): Contribute to the development of new products to sell outside of BenGen, leveraging our proprietary data and algorithms.
• Data Monetization: Develop strategies to sell our data-driven insights, including our combined signals, algorithms, and engagement/demo data.
• Financial Management: Own the P&L related to data purchase and selling. Package and bill data costs to internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data acquisition, data management, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate data quality
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices
• Knowledge of email marketing and digital advertising is a plus
