Job Description:As a staffing business development manager, account executive or account manager you will be responsible for the full life-cycle sales process of short and long term IT contract staffing, contract to hire and dire hire staffing requirements. You will be responsible for building a sales funnel through your personal identification, prospecting and targeting of new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities are:
- Prospect and target new customers that utilize Information Technology business and functional professionals on a daily basis to build and increase your personal sales funnel
- Gain market share at existing clients by increasing headcount, revenue and gross margin
- Responsible for all aspects of a client relationship, pre-sales and post-sales relationships
- Work closely with internal team in the development and implementation of sales strategies
- Establish relationships with client decision makers in order to secure new business opportunities
- Responsible for building a sales pipeline for each customer account and delivering all performance SLA's set for the clients
- Meet or speak with client Hiring Managers on an ongoing basis to develop meaningful relationships
- Plan and attend client events to foster relationships
- Effectively manage and prioritize business and job order requisitions
- Work closely with the technical recruiting team to clearly communicate client requirements ensuring the successful identification of candidates for each job order they are assigned
- Create and maintain Applicant Tracking System (ATS) real-time for historical customer relationship management purposes throughout all sales cycles and job order management workflows
Key Sales Capabilities and Performance Expectations:- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience with responsibilities for the generation & growth in revenues and profits
- Experience selling IT solutions or staffing services with a functional understanding of technology positions, job roles, rates, and skill sets
- Knowledge of professional media sites, e.g., LinkedIn
- Sales process orientation with critical and analytical thinking abilities
- Proven experience selling, negotiating and solving problems as they arise throughout the typical day of a staffing sales professional
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to research, create and perform sales presentations at the hiring manager and executive level
- Highly self-disciplined, able to work with limited management, personally, professionally and financially driven with a proven record of being successful in challenging and stressful situations
- Skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point
- Travel may be required dependent upon client locations and sales pursuit opportunities
