Tribute Technology is looking for a collaborative and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer!
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support our applications and services.
The Cloud DevOps Engineer will be instrumental in driving our cloud strategy and ensuring the efficient and secure operation of our cloud-based systems. If you are passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
○ Cloud Skills:
- Extensive experience with cloud architectures, particularly AWS.
- Proficient in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.
○ Continuous Deployment (CD):
- Develop and maintain automated pipelines, integrating various tools to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
○ Containers:
- Manage and support container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, enhancing scalability and flexibility.
○ Observability:
- Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions such as New Relic.
- Expertise in components like CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events and Alarms, syslogs, and other cloud analytics tools.
○ Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Automate repetitive tasks using IaC principles with tools like Terraform, streamlining the deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
○ Release Management:
- Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, integrate test automation into CI/CD processes, and ensure seamless code releases.
○ Security:
- Understand and apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure from potential threats.
○ IT Operations:
- Strong troubleshooting skills, effective server resource management, and database management knowledge (SQL and NoSQL databases).
- Experience with Linux and Windows servers.
○ Automation:
- Expertise in scripting languages and automation technologies such as AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and SNS for event-driven patterns.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Hard skills:
- Proven experience in building Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and other container management tools.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
- Proficiency in observability tools and APM solutions like New Relic.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Packer).
- IT operations skills, including troubleshooting, server management, database management, network troubleshooting (e.g., DNS management, SSL certificates, domain management).
- System administration skills: Apache/Nginx configuration, OS updates, and patching.
- Strong scripting skills with languages such as Python and Node.js.
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation in Confluence.
Soft skills:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Curious and eager to learn, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and automation.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach.
- Collaborative team player who works effectively with different teams and support functions.
- Ability to work well in a remote environment, with strong skills in identifying and researching issues independently, and driving for results.

Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, and related fields. Having a deep understanding of cloud platforms, extensive hands-on experience, and the ability to design and manage complex cloud environments.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of DNS and security certificates, and their use in managing websites and securing services.
