The Senior OutSystems Developer will be focused on core development and support of OutSystems web application. As a Sr. Developer, you should be comfortable developing advanced technical solutions that meet the business requirements and you should enjoy helping less experienced developers. The ideal candidate is an experienced developer with a proven track record of writing high quality, efficient code using OutSystems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop high-quality and scalable enterprise application with OutSystems using modern engineering practices
- Deliver clean, functional code on the front- and back-end
- Develop high-quality and scalable enterprise application with OutSystems using modern engineering practices
- Mentor junior developers on high-quality standards and review the code developed by other team members as needed
- Interact in a team setting to understand the User Experience (UX) goals
- Understand how to match existing user interface (UI) guidelines to meet requirements within the OutSystems platform.
- Build a product that both provides a delightful user experience and is flexible enough to adapt to changing requirements
- Define or extend the data model of OutSystems applications enforcing proper referential integrity constraints
- Develop functional components including screens, business logic, and custom UI in OutSystems
- Implement business logic using OutSystems integrated development environment
- Test and fix bugs or other coding issues
- Deduce technical logic from business requirements
- Scope story points, estimate development effort, and communicate progress to product managers and team
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate solutions
- Take architectural ownership with respect to design and development of functionality
- Maintain and update the application over time to fix bugs and add new features
- Follow agile best practices
Requirements
MUST HAVES
- Native or Fluent English
- Critical thinking
- Strong team work capabilities
- 4+ years as developer
- 2+ years using OutSystems
- Strong knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio and OutSystems lifetime
- Certifications in OutSystems (Associate Reactive Developer, Associate Traditional Web Developer, or similar experience)
- 2+ years of experience with OutSystems Web, Mobile, or Progressive web app development
- Knowledge of API technologies such as REST and JSON
- Knowledge of web development concepts, including HTTP protocols, client-server architecture, and web security.
- Able to analyze OutSystems logs to troubleshoot, identify, and fix issues.
- 1+ years using Agile methodology
LIKE TO HAVES
- 1+ years using JavaScript
- 1+ years using PostgreSQL
- 1+ years using NoSQL
- Front end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of SQL and experience in Data Modeling
- Knowledge of database structures and design
