We are looking for a Category/Product Manager who will manage a food product line. Seeking an innovative thinker who can partner with clients and internal stakeholders to comprehend client needs, determine the company's capability to meet those needs, and then execute the process.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the complete product line life cycle from key planning to cross-functional tactical activities.
Oversee a portfolio of SKUs to maximize capacity, profitability, and sales.
Grow into a Subject Matter Expert (SME), comprehending all aspects of our food product categories.
Define market needs for future and current products by administering market research, conversations with prospects and customers, ongoing visits, and conversations with internal stakeholders.
Propelling solutions across functional teams (Operations, Product Development, Sales, and Purchasing) through relaying product programs, positioning, and market requirements.
Create and relay a thorough understanding of possible raw material synergies that exist by using our position as a vertically integrated food manufacturer.
Create and put in place an organization-wide go-to-market plan, partnering with all departments to accomplish it.
Record functionality/features for external/internal consumption.

QUALIFICATIONS

3 years minimum of product/category management experience.
Significant knowledge of Supply Chain, Marketing, and Financial Planning.
Prior experience in prioritizing, defining, and accomplishing product features.
Food or meat background is a big plus but not required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to reach unison on product strategy and implement it through departments within the company.
Excellent analytical skills and be able to utilize metrics to assist in effective product decision-making.
Proven ability to wisely execute and have a crucial role in strategic planning.
Fully Proficient in Excel.
