Release Manager

• Managing the software development release function.
• Developing and implementing business plans, policies, and procedures to help with efficient release execution.
• Developing and implementing policies, and procedures.
• Collaborating with team members to prioritize software development needs including design, development, and documenting and testing new and existing software.
• Possessing a broad technical expertise and company/industry knowledge with specific experience managing the release/deployment process for Enterprise class cloud solutions.
• Coordinating the initial release and updates of code, configuration data, and user data into various sub-production and production cloud environments.
• Initiating QA of releases, providing release updates, managing rollback of releases and tracking corrective and preventative actions needed through re-release.
• Planning releases, communicating release schedules, publishing release documentation for teams and stakeholders.
• Facilitating and coordinating staff shared service teams for all release related tasks, defect tracking, and other environment change activities.

• 8+ years of experience in release management, with specific experience in transportation systems preferred.
• Ideal candidate would have experience implementing tolling transportation solutions.
• 5+ years experience managing the release/deployment process for Enterprise class cloud solutions.
• Understand of Software Development, DevOps, Change Management, Project Management and Agile methodologies.

• 8+ years of experience in release management, with specific experience in transportation systems preferred.
• Ideal candidate would have experience implementing tolling transportation solutions.
