About this roleThe business analyst in this role will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to create both experience and technical requirements for rich features and functionality to support our B2B partner experience on our website and supporting systems. One of the primary responsibilities of the business analyst is to bring the right set of stakeholders together to ensure we have aligned requirements to enhance our partner experience. Key skills for this role include:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand and explain issues from both a technical and a business functional point of view and recommend solutions to business problems.
- Strong facilitation skills
- Able to demonstrate analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze and document business process flow, data flow and requirements/users' stories in clear, concise way
- Able to synthesize data into meaningful, actionable documents
- Ability to assist in UAT includes defining test strategy and risks
- Experience in creating feature roadmaps
- Ability to contribute and help create business cases
- Strong understanding of ecommerce technology
A day in the life: Works closely with Business Owners and Technology teams to ensure requirements are in place and understood. Responsible for ensuring acceptance criteria is aligned. Works closely with Architects to ensure system implications/dependencies are understood. Facilitates requirement conversations with Business Owners and Technology Teams.
- Facilitating functional and non-functional requirements gathering
- Utilizing artifacts such as JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirement alignment sessions
- Documenting dependencies, risks, architectural decisions, and security/privacy recommendations in requirements
- Aligning overall scope, priority, and sequencing roadmap with program manager
- Tracking production / operation issues and partnering with team for resolution..
