Quality Assurance Manager

You’ll play a critical role in overseeing our QA processes, improving the QA function and guiding your team to ensure our solutions meet the highest standards.

Your role:

As our QA Manager, you’ll be the backbone of our quality assurance efforts. Starting your day with resource and capacity planning ensures your team is set up for success. Up next, you’ll tackle test planning, project scheduling and execution, ensuring every QA cycle stage is flawlessly coordinated.

You’ll work closely with your team, mentoring and upskilling them to keep pace with industry standards. You’ll also be the go-to person for updating documentation, resolving escalations and ensuring aligned QA processes. You’ll lead the team through problem-solving challenges while maintaining the integrity of our testing procedures.

Why you’re the perfect fit:

You have a solid background in QA and with your ISTQB, you speak the same language as the team you’re leading. You are comfortable in a fast-paced, technical environment and rely on your process-driven approach to help you strategies and guide the QA roadmap. You know how to problem-solve and support agile teams with their deliverables.

You’re a planner by nature, with excellent organisational skills. You’re also a mentor at heart, passionate about upskilling your team and ensuring their growth. Your job satisfaction is ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standard.

A few things to know:

• Location: While this is a remote role, we would prefer if you were based in Cape-Town, there may be occasional in-person meetings or teambuilding events.
• Technical skills: Experience with enterprise-level QA planning and processes. Strong focus on QA automation and aligning QA practices with the company's technology and processes.
• Leadership: You’ll be expected to manage day-to-day duties, mentor your team and ensure that all QA processes align with industry standards.
