Responsibilities
- Report directly to the Operations Branch Manager.
- Oversee and manage all port operations effectively.
- Ensure targets are met and deadlines are adhered to.
- Maintain high ethical standards and compliance with regulations and laws.
- Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
- Set and uphold high standards of performance and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and arrange shift timetables for operational staff.
- Manage and supervise site operations staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Handle administrative tasks proficiently, including managing paperwork and Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
Requirements
- Experience in the logistics industry is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to meet targets and deadlines.
- Strong adherence to ethical standards, regulations, and laws.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
