<p>International Corporate Service provider based in Malta with branches across the globe urgently needs a Legal and Compliance Officer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Legal and Compliance professional to work with some of the best minds in the industry. </p><p>As the Legal and Compliance Officer you will be working closely with their Head of Legal and other senior stakeholders. Your key purpose will be to make sure that the company is in line with the regulatory guidelines. This may range from managing compliance risks to supporting the regulatory framework and offering sound legal advice. </p><p>You will also be required to:</p><ul><li>Stay up to date with developments with AML/CFT guidelines</li><li>Accurately identify and addressing any changes or gaps with the companies AML/CFT policies</li><li>Work closely with the compliance and business teams to assess the effectiveness of AML/CFT policies, procedures, and controls.</li><li>Prepare and manage legal documents to ensure they comply with applicable laws and internal standards</li><li>Offer sound legal advice in order to protect the business from any potential risks.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements </strong></p><ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in either Law, Business or Finance</li> <li>Two years of experience in regulatory affairs or compliance within a consulting firm, regulatory agency, or relevant industry</li> <li>Well versed with regulatory frameworks and processes </li> <li>Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Please note that I am happy to offer a bespoke service on your behalf.
