Position Overview:
accesso Technology Group plc is a world-wide AIM listed software company delivering industry leading virtual queuing, eCommerce, and ticketing solutions for the attractions and leisure industries. Our clients include some of the top theme parks, water parks, and zoos across North America and Europe.
We seek a highly motivated and proactive Finance Manager with extraordinary attention to detail and accuracy. A qualified accountant with a proven record of outstanding performance should apply. The person must be able to work with sensitive and confidential information.
Strong verbal, written communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential, this role will involve working closely with a widely dispersed finance team across the accesso Group. The candidate would need to have the ability to influence and drive improvements across the Group’s finance teams. Exceptional organization skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are vital in order to meet our internal and external deadlines and filing requirements
Location: United Kingdom; then, you choose what works for you! This role can be performed 100% remotely anywhere in the UK, at our office location in the UK, or a hybrid version of in-office and remote.

Travel ✈️ Requirement: Less than 5%
What you will be working on:
- Ensure the monthly close is completed accurately, efficiently and on-time.
- Issue timely and accurate monthly financial packages including complete reviews of packages and revenue recognition methods.
- Play an instrumental role in annual budgeting / monthly forecasting processes.
- Ensure all invoices are issued to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure all reconciliations assigned are completed within deadlines; ensure all reconciliations assigned to your team are reviewed monthly.
- Maintain a system of controls over all accounting transactions.
- Develop, maintain, and track financial and operating metrics to measure the performance of the company operations including recommendations for improvements, as warranted.
- Engaging with the Group’s auditor to manage and support the year end audit process.
- Half year and full year statutory consolidation, financial statements and supporting technical papers and schedules.
- Preparation of forecast models for use as part of management information and impairment models
- Facilitation of improvements and achieving consistency of reporting and accounting policies across the Group
- Ad hoc reporting as required, including special projects, as requested.
- Training, supervision, periodic reviews, managing, and leadership of direct reports.

What you bring to the role:
- Individual should have obtained an ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualification
- High level of proficiency with Excel
- Exposure to international Groups/IFRS preferred
- Ability to identify and drive improvements across a finance function
- Demonstrate 6+ years of progressively responsible experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Listed company accounting experience and an understanding of the regulatory environment surrounding AIM listed companies is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a plus
- Familiarity with Intacct accounting software would be a plus but not required.
