JMAC Lending is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Sales Manager to spearhead the growth and development of our government lending products across our California territory. This individual will play a crucial role in the expansion of our business by effectively managing their designated region and driving operations to meet the Company’s strategic objectives.

As a Wholesale and Nondelegated Correspondent Sales Manager, you will not only be responsible for fostering growth within your assigned territory but also for enhancing all aspects of our sales operations, from product sales to recruitment and customer service. We're looking for an individual who can motivate and mentor, promoting a sales and service culture that achieves our ambitious sales goals through new business development, referrals, and robust customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively coaches and develops Account Executives with consistent training and guidance in sales/marketing techniques, pipeline maintenance and systems utilization.
  • Lead the charge in talent acquisition, continuously recruiting and hiring high-caliber candidates. Promote the Company’s benefits and development opportunities to attract top Account Executives.
  • Hold Account Executives accountable to established sales goals by regularly monitoring and analyzing sales activities and communicating areas of strengths and opportunities to improve.
  • Equip Account Executives with in-depth training in TPO Sales, focusing on effective sales techniques and strategies to drive performance.
  • Develop and execute an annual sales business plan for each Account Executive, ensuring their individual strategies align with the company's broader objectives.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource and the main point of contact for Account Executives, addressing scenario questions and staying up-to-date on mortgage products, underwriting requirements, compliance, and policies/procedures.
  • Special projects, as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years in sales management within the mortgage lending industry, with a focus on at least 2 recent years in wholesale sales management.
  • Expertise in conventional, government and non-agency mortgage products and guidelines
  • Demonstrated strong management abilities. Highly organized individual with ability to drive results, motivate team, highly communicative with the ability to present and summarize to all levels of management. Able to assess work priorities and continually reset priorities
  • Thorough understanding of state and federal lending compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
