We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Head of Inside Sales / Director of Sales to lead, scale, and manage an inside sales organization of 50-100 people in Mexico City. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record in building and scaling sales teams, and strong analytical abilities. This role requires a hands-on leader who can cultivate sales talent, promote top performers into leadership positions, and drive overall sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
    • Scale the inside sales team from initial hires to a full team of 50 sales professionals.
    • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer success and continuous improvement.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor sales agents, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to succeed.
    • Identify and develop high-potential team members for leadership roles.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Sales Operations:
    • Oversee daily sales activities, ensuring targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
    • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Implement sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analytical Reporting:
    • Utilize data and analytics to monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations.
    • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.
    • Handle escalated customer issues and provide solutions promptly.
  • Compliance and Ethics:
    • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
    • Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven track record of scaling and managing large sales teams (preferably around 50 people).
    • Experience in the travel tech industry or a related field is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated success in promoting team members into leadership positions.
  • Skills:
    • Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team.
    • Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices.
    • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to drive decision-making.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
    • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
    • Cultural Competence: Familiarity with U.S. business culture and customer expectations.
    • Technical Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
